About the Book
The 11th National Operations Research Congress was held from 23–25 September 1987. The Proceedings, Volume 1, compiles the papers presented there. The theme was "Operations Research and Computer Applications in Local Government". The book addresses local government issues and the contributions of operations research methods and techniques to their resolution. It is based on the sessions, panel discussions and scientific contributions presented at the congress. The theoretical and practical dimensions of the field have been evaluated.
